Saints guard Dillon Radunz has torn ligaments, defensive end Cam Jordan has a hamstring injury

METAIRIE, La. (AP) — Saints reserve guard Dillon Radunz has suffered a torn knee ligament and veteran defense end Cameron Jordan missed practice due to a hamstring injury, according to coach Kellen Moore. Radunz, 28, left practice on Saturday with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, an injury that typically necessitates season-ending reconstructive surgery.

This marks Radunz's second ACL tear, previously experiencing the same ailment with the Tennessee Titans during the 2022 season. Radunz, entering his sixth NFL season after being drafted by the Titans in 2021, started 10 games for New Orleans last year. He subsequently signed a two-year contract extension with the Saints. In contrast, Jordan's hamstring injury occurred during practice on Thursday.

The Saints had the day off on Friday and Jordan was excused from practice on Saturday to attend his former teammate Drew Brees' Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Canton, Ohio.
