Penn State’s Top 10 Players for 2026: Carson Hansen

In a recent vote by the BSD staff, running back Carson Hansen has been named Penn State's top player for 2026. The ranking is based on their expectations for Hansen's performance in the upcoming season, not considering his long-term potential or NFL prospects. Hansen, who transferred to Penn State from Iowa State in the spring, initially gained playing time as a freshman, appearing in nine games and accumulating 33 touches, both as a runner and receiver, although he did not score any touchdowns.
