'Only 3 of 13 exams cancelled': Students on Jharkhand govt's '98% demands met' claim

Jharkhand university students are demanding a CBI investigation into alleged irregularities in recruitment exams, after the state government claimed only 98% of their demands had been met. At a press conference, a student leader asserted that the government had only cancelled three of the 13 exams they sought to be canceled. The students accused the JMM-led government of spreading false information and vowed to continue their peaceful protest.

They called for a march on Monday, urging students, political parties, and the public to join the demonstration. Student leader Ravindra Paswan criticized the government's insistence on a CID probe, alleging it is known for cover-ups. The students emphasized that their protest would remain peaceful and democratic, warning against disruptions by anti-social elements.

They appealed to parents to support their children and requested political parties to offer moral support without attaching political banners to the protest. The protest has been ongoing for 17 days.
