Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith Lands at No. 2 on Freaks List

In an annual feature by Bruce Feldman, Ohio State football standout Jeremiah Smith has been ranked No. 2 on the 2026 Freaks List. The list, which highlights unique athletes across various positions, features 101 players in total. Smith, a 6-foot-3 wide receiver, was lauded as the best player on the list by Feldman, who also noted his record-breaking performance with a 1.44-second 10-yard split, the fastest in Ohio State history.

Smith, who stands at 235 pounds with an impressive 82 1/2-inch wingspan, further astonished with his 10.1-second 100-meter sprint time and his astonishingly fast 327-pound deadlift. Joining Smith on the list, the Buckeyes boast another remarkable athlete in Brenten Inky Jones, a 6-foot-2, 216-pound defensive back and special-teams player.

Jones, who has developed into a force on the field, boasts impressive stats including a 23.52-mile-per-hour top-end speed, an 11-foot broad jump, and a 10-yard split of 1.47 seconds. Not only that, but he also showed off his incredible strength by bench pressing 385 pounds and squatting 555 pounds. The purpose of this list is not to predict future NFL success, but rather to showcase the extraordinary physical attributes that set these individuals apart from their peers.
