‘Men Are Families Spiritual Security’

David Afum, along with Apostle Dr. George Amoako Alhassan, addressed a significant gathering of men at the conclusion of a week-long Men's Fellowship Revival in Atwima Aburaso, Ashanti Region. The event, themed "Fathers as Spiritual Gatekeepers: Standing in Prayer for Our Families," revolved around the critical role fathers and men play in safeguarding their families through spiritual leadership.

Reverend Emmanuel Agyapong, the Founding General Overseer of the Hope In Christ Power Ministry, emphasized that men, especially fathers, are strategically positioned as the spiritual security and watchmen of their families. He underscored the necessity for men to embody prayerful gatekeeping, discipline, and robust leadership as they protect their households through unwavering faith in God.

Quoting Luke 8:22-25, Rev. Agyapong recounted Jesus and His disciples' experience of a storm at sea, illustrating the limitations of human capabilities when faced with adversity and the indispensable presence of divine guidance. He urged men to rely on God's presence rather than their own skills. Furthermore, Rev. Agyapong stressed the importance of the Holy Spirit in men's lives, explaining that it attracts divine recognition and protection from evil forces.

He also called on women to support their husbands in their roles, fostering a nurturing environment that fosters faith, love, discipline, and godly values within the home. Deacon Afum expressed gratitude to the participants for their active involvement and appealed for God's continued protection and guidance for the men and their families.
