Martha Stewart speaks out on Meghan Markle’s ‘homemaking guru’ career

Martha Stewart, a well-known homemaking expert, recently expressed her thoughts on Meghan Markle's career as a "homemaking guru" in a cover story for People magazine. Stewart commented on Markle's transition from royal duties to her new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan. Stewart stated, "If you're an actress, it's hard to then transition to a princess and then from a princess into a homemaking guru on a television show.

It doesn't sort of follow. So go from there." Stewart also mentioned attending a dinner party with Markle, but only exchanged a few words. In a later interview, Stewart said she would watch an episode of With Love, Meghan and "see how she does." Markle and Prince Harry stepped back from their royal roles in 2020, moved to the United States, and have since launched various initiatives through their media company, Archewell Productions. Markle has not publicly commented on Stewart's remarks as of now.
