Linda Mwananchi seeks to replicate Western Kenya momentum in Luo Nyanza

The Linda Mwananchi Movement is gearing up for a significant rally in Luo Nyanza as part of its push to replicate the success seen during previous Western Kenya engagements ahead of the 2027 General Election. In a recent announcement on X, the movement expressed gratitude to leaders from Luo Nyanza, including Babu Owino, James Orengo, and Caroli Omondi, for their role in preparing the ground for the upcoming event.

This rally follows a series of high-profile mobilisation tours in Kakamega and Bungoma, where the opposition outfit has been actively engaging with citizens on governance, accountability, and economic challenges under the slogan "People Powered. People First." The movement's activities have been expanding beyond Western Kenya, with recent rallies in Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Busia, and Kakamega, drawing large crowds and reinforcing its political footprint in key regions.
