Lanjar, Murtaza visit family of late Mir Raza Ali

Karachi - Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjar and Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab visited the residence of the late Mir Raza Ali Khan to express their condolences to his family. Additional IGP Karachi, DIGP East, and other senior police officers were present during the visit. The Sindh Home Minister informed the bereaved family that a judicial inquiry would be conducted into the murder case of Mir Raza Ali Khan.

He further revealed that a judicial commission would be established under the leadership of a respected Sindh High Court judge, following the recommendation of the Sindh Chief Minister. A new investigation team, headed by DIGP Amir Farooqi, has also been formed, comprising three SSPs.

During a four-hour-long meeting chaired by the Sindh Chief Minister, all aspects of the incident and the ongoing investigation were thoroughly reviewed. The Karachi Mayor assured the family that the investigation team would maintain close contact with them, ensuring a transparent and impartial probe, and fulfilling all requirements of justice. Lanjar and Wahab reaffirmed their commitment to providing the family with complete justice, emphasizing that they would not be left alone during this difficult time.
