KLU organises ‘AI BUILD 2026’ hackathon

KL University (KLU), in collaboration with ASSOCHAM and 42 Learn, recently orchestrated the 'AI BUILD 2026' hackathon at their campus in Vijayawada. The event, an industry-led challenge, drew participants from over 75 engineering colleges. After rigorous assessments, the top 1,000 students were chosen to compete in the 'AI BUILD 2026 Hackathon', where they tackled real-world industry problems in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and emerging technologies.

KLU's own team of Seshma Muddana, Syed Mastan Vali, and Shravya Lankapalli were crowned winners, while DNR College of Engineering & Technology and Vignan’s Nirula Institute of Technology and Science for Women secured the first runner-up positions. The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing (IIITDM) - Kurnool and Nadimpalli Satyanarayana Raju Institute of Technology followed closely as the second runners-up.
