Indian Railways approves 2 new trains, extends 4 services; 7 get new stops – Check routes

The Ministry of Railways has greenlit two new trains in Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat, while four existing services have been extended to provide passengers with enhanced connectivity. Additionally, seven trains have been granted new stoppages, offering travelers more convenient options along their routes. This strategic move aims to bolster rail connectivity across various cities and furnish passengers with a wider range of travel choices within the Indian Railways network.

However, railway zones will independently issue notifications to announce the commencement of the new train services, route expansions, and the incorporation of the approved stoppages. The complete list of new trains approved by the Railway Board includes the Kasganj-Aishbagh Express, Valsad-Surat MEMU, Varanasi City-Gorakhpur Express extension to Nepalganj Road, Rewa-Jabalpur Express extension to Madan Mahal, Jabalpur-Singrauli Express extension to Madan Mahal, and the introduction of new stoppages for seven trains.
