Grand Theft Auto fans have come together to raise over $50,000 in order to enable a sick fan, Jerry, to undergo a lung transplant so he might survive long enough to play GTA 6. Jerry, a 25-year-old content creator known as Void Only on TikTok, has been an avid gamer, particularly fond of games like Warframe, Marvel's Spider-Man, Hitman, and of course, GTA 6.

Recently, he uploaded a video expressing his desire to play GTA 6, frustrated with delays from Rockstar. Jerry is currently battling interstitial lung disease, a condition that has progressed since his teenage years, and he requires a lung transplant to have any hope of recovery. The surgery to replace his damaged lungs involves physically severing them from his chest wall, which is a risky and dangerous procedure.

Jerry's GoFundMe page, established to cover the costs of the transplant and subsequent recovery, has surpassed its initial $15,000 goal, raising a total of $53,151 as of the publication of this report. Jerry remains optimistic about his recovery and expressed his gratitude to the community for their unwavering support, stating that he plans to stream GTA 6 upon its November 19, 2026, release.
