Ex-coach backs Uzun-Osimhen partnership at Gala

Former Galatasaray coach Christian Martin has praised the potential partnership between Can Uzun and Victor Osimhen, should the Turkish club secure the signing of the attacking midfielder from Eintracht Frankfurt. According to Martin, Uzun's creative abilities could enhance Osimhen's strengths, making them a formidable duo on the field.

Martin stated that Uzun's knack for exploiting gaps between the opponent's midfield and defence, combined with his precise passing, would complement Osimhen's pace, physicality and movement. The Turkish club has been actively pursuing Uzun, with negotiations ongoing with Frankfurt. Despite galatasaray's slow start to the transfer window, Uzun has emerged as one of their top targets, with the club reportedly close to a deal worth €35m plus bonuses.
