Egyptian arrested over double murder in Kuwait

Kuwait's Interior Ministry has apprehended an Egyptian man who is accused of the premeditated murder of two expatriate residents in the Kabd area of Jahra Governorate. The arrest came after a thorough investigation that successfully identified the suspect and cornered him as he allegedly tried to flee the country. The ministry announced the arrest in a statement, detailing the events leading up to the suspect's capture.

The killings occurred at a farm chalet in Kabd, where security teams discovered the bodies of two residents who had been stabbed to death. Two other individuals were injured during the assault. The investigation was initiated to determine the circumstances surrounding the killings and to identify the perpetrator. A weapon believed to have been used in the attack was recovered near the crime scene.

Through the evidence gathered during the investigation, the ministry's detectives managed to identify the suspect. In collaboration with the General Department of Border Security, they successfully tracked the suspect to the Ritqa area. The suspect was apprehended after being spotted attempting to escape through the border fence. He has since been referred to the relevant authorities for legal proceedings.
