Broad-Based Government is committed to uniting Kenyans, says Ruto

President William Ruto and party leader Oburu Oginga are leading a Broad-Based Coalition meeting in Naivasha, bringing together government officials, lawmakers, and governors. Ruto stated that the coalition is committed to unifying Kenyans, advancing the country's development goals, and addressing immediate needs. Despite political competition, such as between the ODM and UDA parties, Ruto emphasized that they have set aside differences for the sake of the nation.

He urged members of the coalition to prioritize the well-being of the Kenyan people over personal interests. The President highlighted the Broad-Based Government's successes, attributing them to difficult decisions made by leaders. As the election approaches, Ruto expects the government to present its accomplishments to the public.

He noted that the opposition parties lack a clear agenda for the country's future. Ruto also announced a national conversation aimed at inclusive development, emphasizing that no region will be neglected. The government has taken steps to tackle the cost of living, the most pressing concern for Kenyans. Both Ruto and Oginga praised the government's teamwork and the ODM's role as a long-standing, integral part of the coalition.

Governor Susan Kihika urged Kenyans to maintain unity and not allow political competition to undermine recent gains.
