BREAKING: Osun Election: Police Break Into Governor Adeleke’s Media Aide’s Home At 1am, Arrest Him

A Special Assistant on Media to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, Alalade Bukola Félix, also known as Machiavelli, was arrested at his home in the early hours of Monday by the Nigeria Police Force. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. when police officers broke into the residence and abducted the media aide. Alalade could be heard pleading with the officers and his wife, Folakemi, for their help, but the officers ignored his requests and carried on with the arrest.

Folakemi later learned that her husband was taken to Osogbo, where he is currently held. The arrest is believed to be part of a clampdown on members and supporters of opposition political parties by the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the upcoming governorship election in Osun State. Folakemi expressed her distress over her husband's detention, stating that the entire family is in turmoil and she is unable to cope with the situation.
