BN-PN akan berusaha teruskan kerjasama walaupun tak sempurna

Analysts believe Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) will continue to cooperate despite their differences. Ahmad Zaharuddin Sani Ahmad Sabri from Global Asia Consulting stated that disagreements between the two don't necessarily mean they will separate. If both parties believe cooperation is more beneficial than conflict, they will remain together even without perfect harmony.

Former DAP leader Ronnie Liu, who joined the Malaysian United Race, saw BN-PN's understanding in Negeri Sembilan as tactical. He claimed the first sign of trouble between them may be seen during PRN Melaka, particularly regarding seat allocation. Although BN and PN have said they will hold discussions, PN President Zahid Hamidi announced BN will retain all 21 DUN seats it holds, while PAS President Hadi Awang reported that similar cooperation as in Johor and Negeri Sembilan may not repeat in Melaka.

Syaza Shukri from Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia believes BN and PN will do everything possible to maintain cooperation, especially in face of the upcoming election. The situation in Negeri Sembilan saw BN-PN defeat the ruling party PH, despite the popularity of Chief Minister Aminuddin Harun. While there will undoubtedly be disagreements and challenges, if they succeed in forming a government, disagreements over leadership and shared agenda may arise.

However, until then, I see both sides continuing to make efforts to ensure this cooperation continues as each party recognizes the political advantage that could be gained from their alliance.
