Apple TV Orders Alfonso Cuarón Cult Horror Thriller ‘Ascension,’ ‘Outlander’ Alum Caitríona Balfe to Star

Caitríona Balfe, the beloved star of the hit TV series Outlander, is set to embark on a new acting venture in the horror drama Ascension. The highly anticipated show will air exclusively on Apple TV and is set to bring her first post-Outlander TV role. Balfe will take on the lead role of Rose, a documentary filmmaker and mother who finds herself entangled in the enigmatic Church of Ascension.
