RRS arrests miscreants terrorising motorists in midnight Lekki-Ajah raid

The Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) has made arrests following a midnight raid targeting criminal elements terrorizing motorists on the Lekki-Ajah Expressway. State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, announced the operation on his social media platform, alleging that the suspects had been extorting motorists and damaging vehicles.

Wahab stated that the RRS would continue to employ intelligence-led strategies to combat criminal activities that endanger public safety and impede traffic flow. The Lekki-Ajah corridor has a history of incidents involving motorists being harassed by alleged touts, leading to repeated enforcement actions by the state's security forces.
