In a post on its X account, MTN urged Nigerians not to click on suspicious links, share personal information, or make payments to platforms claiming to provide the anniversary data bundle.

The official 25GB giveaway is exclusively available through the MyMTN NG App and MTN eShop, the company emphasized. To redeem the offer, eligible subscribers must log into the MyMTN App and tap 'Redeem Now' on the anniversary banner or via the MTN eShop. The company also advised customers to access the 25GB offer by visiting the MyMTN App or MTN eShop and following the provided instructions.

Any attempt to access the giveaway through unauthorised websites or platforms requesting personal details or payments is strongly discouraged. The 25GB free data bundle will remain valid until 11:59pm on the stated expiry date, and subscribers should redeem the offer within the validity period.
