Lae'zel actor Devora Wilde didn't know she was in Space Marine 2 until players told her

Devora Wilde, known for her role as Lae zel in Baldur's Gate 3, was featured in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 without knowing it. She explained to IGN that she received comments saying, "You're in Space Marine 2!" but initially dismissed them. It was only when someone shared a clip of her performance on Twitter that she realized she was indeed part of the game.

Wilde had to sift through her emails and match the codename of the game to confirm her involvement. Common practice among actors is to not know the titles of games they perform in until the last minute to prevent leaks. Wilde has appeared in multiple Warhammer games and animations, including Tzarina Katarin Bokha in Total War: Warhammer 3 and the Authoritarian voice option for the female Arbitrator in Darktide.

She expressed amazement at the vastness of the Warhammer universe, saying, "I've done a lot of Warhammer stuff, and I never realized how vast the universe is, genuinely."
