JPSC exam cancellation demand met, say Jharkhand protesters after talks with govt: ‘will continue stir till….’

Jharkhand protest leaders have been informed that the state government has agreed to cancel the upcoming Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) exams, but they insist on a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into alleged financial irregularities. Higher and Technical Education Minister Sudivya Kumar informed students that the government would recommend an Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren assured students that the government would address their grievances through a transparent process and said that issues within the state could be resolved through dialogue. Soren warned that those with political ambitions were attempting to undermine democracy in Jharkhand and urged the students’ movement to remain free from political influence.

The protesters remain committed to their cause, vowing to continue their agitation until their demands are met.
