I’ve used the Pixel 10 Pro a year. I hope Google fixes these nagging issues on the Pixel 11 Pro

Using the Google Pixel 10 Pro for nearly a year has allowed me to assess its strengths and weaknesses. The software remains one of my favorite Android experiences, performance is generally solid, and Google's Gemini features have proven to be genuinely useful. However, there are several recurring issues that have become increasingly annoying over the past year, and I don't want these problems to carry over to the upcoming Pixel 11 Pro.

Battery life has been one of my biggest frustrations, with the phone failing to last a full day. This uncertainty often forces me to carry an iPhone as a backup, particularly when I know I'll be away from a charger for extended periods. Charging is another headache, as it's painfully slow and the phone tends to heat up, making the daily charging routine a chore.

Despite these issues, better battery life and faster charging are non-negotiable for the Pixel 11 Pro. Another issue that has been driving me mad is the screen randomly becoming unresponsive. This occurs frequently, sometimes up to 10 to 15 times in a day, even when I'm not pushing the phone to its limits. The only workaround I have found is to open the recent apps menu, clear everything, and start fresh, which becomes increasingly frustrating over time.

I want the Pixel 11 Pro to have a reliable screen that responds every single time I tap it. Network problems have been another source of frustration, especially when making phone calls. The phone often fails to connect properly, forcing me to search for the perfect spot to maintain a stable connection. This issue is particularly annoying when making basic phone calls, as it undermines the primary function of a smartphone.

While a factory reset might solve the problem, it's not a practical solution for a flagship phone. I want Google to fix the fundamentals, providing a reliable connection without the need for extensive troubleshooting or resetting. Ultimately, I hope the Pixel 11 Pro will be a phone I can confidently buy and stick with, as my relationship with Google's smartphone division is paramount.
