Ibrahim Mahama supports Beverly Afaglo’s family with GH¢200,000 funeral donation

Businessman Ibrahim Mahama has donated GH¢200,000 to help cover the funeral expenses of late Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo. The generous contribution was announced during the actress' funeral service at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra on Saturday, August 8, 2026. Among the prominent figures in attendance were Mr Mahama and other dignitaries who gathered to pay their respects to the beloved actress.

Upon the announcement of the donation, the master of ceremonies applauded the gesture, stating that Mr Mahama had presented GH¢200,000 to the bereaved family. Beverly Afaglo, who passed away on May 24, 2026 at the age of 42 after a two-year battle with cancer, left behind her husband and two children. A thanksgiving service in her memory is planned for Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Action Chapel International.
