Huddersfield Giants secured a convincing 42-20 victory over Catalans Dragons, showcasing their determination as they prepare to relocate to Dewsbury next season. The match, held at the Accu Stadium, attracted nearly 9,000 fans who were granted free entry to witness the news announcement at halftime. Six first-half tries, including scores from Fenton Rogers, Connor Wrench, Sam Hewitt, Zane Dunford, and two from Sam Halsall, gave Huddersfield an impressive 36-0 halftime lead.

Despite the enthusiastic atmosphere, Huddersfield's performance dipped after the news of their imminent move, which was received with mixed reactions from the crowd. Catalans Dragons responded strongly in the second half, capitalizing on a Ben Condon red card and scoring a double, along with tries from Leo Darrelatour and Charlie Staines.
