DCE inspects Trede Agenda 111 Hospital, pledges action to operationalise facility

District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Kwanwoma, Mrs Grace Agyemang Asamoah, recently inspected the Agenda 111 Hospital project at Trede. The inspection aimed to evaluate the facility's current state and determine steps to ensure its operationalisation. The DCE toured the hospital compound while noting the absence of accessible doors, remaining satisfied with the overall cleanliness of the surroundings.

She commended the security personnel and labourers stationed at the site for their maintenance and protection efforts, urging them to remain vigilant against potential threats.

Recognizing the facility as a significant national investment, Mrs Agyemang Asamoah emphasized the importance of its proper maintenance to avoid deterioration before it becomes operational. She urged all stakeholders to diligently fulfill their responsibilities until the hospital is fully functional. The DCE pledged to brief Minister of Health, Mr Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, on the facility's condition and seek practical measures to put it to use.

She reaffirmed her commitment to collaborating with relevant parties to guarantee that the hospital delivers quality healthcare services to the local communities, as part of the Agenda 111 programme. Mrs Agyemang Asamoah highlighted that governance is an ongoing process, and it is the duty of the incumbent administration to safeguard public investments and utilize them for the benefit of the people.
