Cartel boss Kinahan lands in Ireland after extradition from Dubai

Sylvana Sari, a 38-year-old restaurateur from Indonesia, has been living in Dubai's fast-growing Al Jaddaf district for the past six years. She and her husband, Bobby, a professional chef, share a spacious two-bedroom apartment in the building with three bathrooms and two balconies. The apartment, located on the first floor, offers a view of the Burj Khalifa and a small garden between the two towers. The family also has access to a private garden outside the building.

The couple chose this apartment due to its proximity to both their workplace and their new business, Bobi Bowl, an Indonesian restaurant they opened two years ago. The apartment is well-suited to their needs, with three bathrooms, two balconies, and ample space for their seven-year-old daughter and a nanny. They appreciate the free maintenance and lack of chiller fees, which have kept their rent at Dh69,300 annually – significantly lower than the current local rate of Dh100,000 for similar apartments in the area.

Despite some minor drawbacks, such as limited parking and no nearby park, Sylvana and her family are content with their living situation. They remain grateful for the reasonable rent, which allows them to reinvest their savings in the restaurant. They are not considering purchasing a home at the moment but are content to continue their long-term tenancy in their well-equipped apartment.
