Brewers' Cooper Pratt goes on injured list, Joey Oritz is also out

Pratt initially played through the discomfort but was now taking precautionary measures. In response to the injuries, the Brewers called up infielder-outfielder Jihwan Bae from Class AAA Syracuse to provide roster flexibility, while also designating left-hander Drew Rom for assignment to make room for Bae. Additionally, Garrett Mitchell received a day off, and Brandon Lockridge made his first start since returning from the injured list. Christian Yelich sat out due to the absence of designated hitter William Contreras.
