Bhatti woos global investors in US

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has been actively courting global investors and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) in the United States, showcasing Telangana as one of India's most promising investment destinations. During a 'Meet and Greet' program organized by the Consulate General of India in San Francisco, Mr. Vikramarka engaged with Telugu diaspora members, industrialists, technology leaders, and professionals from the Bay Area.

He emphasized the state's commitment to creating a favorable investment environment across various sectors, including manufacturing, information technology, life sciences, clean energy, and advanced industries.

The Deputy Chief Minister assured the availability of industrial land through dedicated corridors and industrial parks, while also strengthening institutions like the Young India Skills University to cultivate a workforce capable of meeting the demands of emerging industries. Highlighting Telangana's industrial strengths, Mr. Vikramarka revealed the state's ability to provide around-the-clock quality power and its significant advancements in both conventional and renewable energy generation.

He further mentioned the government's single-window clearance system, which expedites investor approvals and streamlines the business process.

Mr. Vikramarka showcased the proposed Future City project, designed with state-of-the-art technology, world-class infrastructure, and sustainable urban planning. The project is anticipated to become a significant hub for investments and attract global companies. The Telangana government aims to establish a $3 trillion economy by focusing on sectors such as IT, pharmaceuticals, green energy, advanced manufacturing, and knowledge-based industries.

Calling upon the Telangana diaspora to play a more substantial role in the state's development, Mr. Vikramarka encouraged them to contribute through investments, technology partnerships, and industrial expansion.

During his visit, Mr. Vikramarka also experienced a Waymo autonomous vehicle ride and subsequently met with company representatives to discuss the potential integration of self-driving technology into Hyderabad and the proposed Future City. The discussions centered on the feasibility of piloting autonomous mobility solutions in these areas, considering aspects such as mapping, road infrastructure, data connectivity, AI computing systems, and regulatory frameworks.

Mr. Vikramarka expressed Telangana's interest in exploring how next-generation mobility technologies could be incorporated into future urban development plans, positioning the state as a pioneer in innovative transportation solutions.
