Bayern Munich Frauen wrap up preseason undefeated

Bayern Munich’s women’s team concluded their preseason without a loss, securing two victories and a draw in their games. The team embarked on an inaugural Asian tour, which included a match against RB Omiya Ardija in Japan, where they emerged victorious with a score of 4-1. Following their return to Germany, Bayern faced FC Nürnberg, resulting in a 2-2 draw, with goals from Linda Dallmann and Pernille Harder, and a missed penalty by Harder.

Their final preseason fixture was against Paris FC at the future home of the Frauen, Sportpark Unterhaching. Bayern secured a 2-0 win with goals from Harder and Alara, both scored in the first half. The preseason showcased the progress of new signings such as Sarah Mattner and Kassandra Potsi, as well as opportunities for young players like Ella Rauscha, Laura Dafinger, and Clara Choisy, who recently won the European championship with Germany.

The Frauen will commence their official season with a DFB-Supercup clash against VfL Wolfsburg next Saturday in Ingolstadt.
