‘Al Pacino, SRK and Michael Jackson dance inside my body’: Ravi Kishan on becoming meme icon

Ravi Kishan, the actor turned politician, has become an unexpected meme icon on social media. His sudden rise to fame came after several of his old interviews and performances went viral, triggering a wave of memes created by netizens. Kishan himself acknowledged the phenomenon, saying that he has a high level of energy all the time, as if cultural icons like Al Pacino, Amitabh Bachchan, Balraj Sahni, Shah Rukh Khan, and Michael Jackson were performing inside him.

He told News18, "I enjoy this because this is me! I'm a fusion of Al Pacino to Amitabh Bachchan to Balraj Sahni to Shah Rukh Khan to Michael Jackson to Elvis Presley. So many people keep dancing and singing inside my body. That's why I keep creating such fusions that this country will always remain crazy. I'm the same guy who said 20 years ago, 'Life is a wreck, yet there is pride.'"

Kishan, who serves as a BJP MP for the Gorakhpur constituency, emphasized that he's not trying to create viral moments. He is simply letting his energy and words flow naturally when the moment arrives. He added, "As they say, when your time comes, people start loving every little thing you do." Kishan recently starred in the film Dhamaal 4, where he appeared alongside Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, and Riteish Deshmukh.
