Al-Nassr has bolstered its squad by signing Portuguese midfielder Samu Costa from Spanish club Real Mallorca during the ongoing summer transfer window. Costa is Al-Nassr's first signing of the current transfer market, as the team seeks to strengthen its midfield ahead of the upcoming season under their current coaching staff. The Saudi club aimed to acquire a player with experience and quality to bolster their midfield, leading to the pursuit of Costa following his impressive performances in La Liga.

The 25-year-old Costa boasts significant experience in European football, having amassed 108 appearances for Real Mallorca throughout his career. Prior to joining Real Mallorca, Costa had previously played for Sporting Braga in Portugal and Almeria in Spain.
