5 kawasan kekal IPU tak sihat di Sarawak

Five districts in Sarawak continue to record unhealthy air quality index (IPU) levels, according to recent reports. The districts most affected are Kuching (153), Samarahan (156), Serian (170), Bintulu (156), and Samalaju (151). This information is based on the Air Pollution Index Management System, which shows these districts as the ones continuously monitoring unhealthy air quality levels.

Earlier today, Deputy Premier Douglas Uggah Embas had announced that 19 districts in Sarawak were expected to experience declining air quality in the coming days due to the eastward flow of smoke from nearby sources. As the chief organizer of the State Disaster Management Unit, Uggah Embas highlighted Kuching, Betong, Bintulu, Daro, Julau, Kuching, Lundu, Marudi, Miri, Mukah, Pakan, Samarahan, Saratok, Serian, Sibu, Simunjan, Song, Sri Aman, and Tatau as the districts that would likely experience poor air quality.
