Stolen trucks, computer equipment totaling $800K recovered in Brampton

Brampton police have recovered a substantial amount of stolen cargo and vehicles in a recent investigation. On July 22, officers from Peel Regional Police responded to an area near Heart Lake Road and Countryside Drive to follow up on a theft involving a trailer. During the search, they discovered four commercial vehicles and trailers that had been stolen.

Inside the trailers, investigators found two shipments of computer equipment. However, the police clarify that the equipment was not related to the vehicle theft cases. It appears that the stolen cargo was moved into the trailers following separate theft incidents that occurred on July 17 and July 20.

The recovered computer equipment alone has an estimated value of over $680,000, while the stolen trailers are valued at approximately $105,000. The total value of the recovered items amounts to nearly $800,000.
