Santos, Resch, Bond help Dynamo extend unbeaten run to six with 2-0 victory over Revolution

Houston Dynamo extended their unbeaten streak to six matches with a 2-0 victory over New England Revolution on Saturday. The goals came from Guilherme Santos and Agustin Resch, while Jonathan Bond kept his sixth shutout of the campaign. Santos scored in the first minute of stoppage time, leading Houston to a 1-0 halftime lead. Resch, making his first appearance as a rookie defender, added a header in the 63rd minute for a 2-0 lead.

It was Resch's first goal of the season. Bond, a veteran goalkeeper, stopped two shots on goal and completed his sixth shutout in 44 starts this season. The win marked Houston's sixth consecutive unbeaten match, pushing their overall record to 4-4-1 on the road. Matt Turner made six saves for the home team, which fell to 8-2-1 at the home ground.

The Dynamo are currently the hottest team in the Western Conference, having gone 8-2-2 in their last 12 matches. The make-up match, initially scheduled for March 7, was postponed due to field conditions. Houston will next host Los Angeles Galaxy, while New England will play at Toronto FC.
