Ruto campaign aims for decisive, petition-free 2027 victory – Mudavadi

Kenyans can expect a decisive and petition-free presidential election campaign from President William Ruto's team in 2027, according to Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi. Mudavadi urged Kenyans to vote for Ruto through the ballot, emphasizing that a petition-free victory would prevent tension and post-election disputes. His campaign will focus on highlighting the achievements of the Kenya Kwanza administration, particularly in education, agriculture, infrastructure, and economic growth.

Mudavadi criticized opposition leaders for vowing to reverse policies that have benefited the country, challenging them to provide their own solutions. He criticized them for their hypocrisy in claiming that Ruto has done nothing while praising the progress made under his leadership, such as the construction of classrooms, agricultural interventions, and increased foreign exchange reserves.

Despite opposition's confidence in their support, Mudavadi warned them not to underestimate Ruto, predicting that Kenyans would be surprised by the number of votes in favor of re-electing him. Mudavadi made these remarks during the Annual Kaimosi Agricultural Research and Training Centre Agricultural Expo in Nandi County, where he also launched a Food and Agriculture Organization-supported curriculum and announced infrastructure projects.
