Photos: UNIWIZ Foundation equips Greater Accra ICT coordinators in advanced digital skills
ICT coordinators from districts across the Greater Accra Region have undergone a two-day Advanced Digital Skills Training aimed at strengthening their capacity to support digital education in schools.
On Thursday, August 6, and continued on Friday, August 7, ICT coordinators from various districts within the Greater Accra Region underwent a two-day Advanced Digital Skills Training. The initiative was organized by the UNIWIZ Foundation, in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service (GES), ModePlus Innovation Hub, and Intellite IT Solutions, with the Embassy of Switzerland in Ghana providing support.
The training aimed to enhance the coordinators' ability to support digital education in schools by strengthening their own digital skills and the application of technology in teaching and learning.
The UNIWIZ Foundation's Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Wisdom Larry Quarme-Doe, emphasized that the training is a part of their ongoing efforts to improve educators' capabilities alongside the provision of ICT facilities in schools. Attendees included ICT coordinators from across the region and a selection of ICT teachers from senior high schools, who participated in practical sessions designed to bolster their digital proficiency and integrate technology effectively into the educational process.
Below are photographs capturing the highlights of the training sessions.
