Madonna Remembers Producer William Orbit as “Singular” in Heartfelt Tribute

Madonna has paid tribute to the late producer and musician William Orbit, describing him as an "otherworldly" and "singular" inspiration in her life. In a heartfelt post on social media, the Queen of Pop remembered Orbit as the person who helped her create the album Ray of Light in 1998 and write many of its tracks. Orbit, who passed away on July 23rd at the age of 69, was known for his work with various artists including Blur, U2, No Doubt, Ricky Martin, and P!NK.

Madonna credited Orbit with changing her perspective on music and giving her the confidence to experiment with her voice in ways she had never done before. The singer recalled spending time in the studio, waiting for Orbit's musical ideas to emerge from his keyboard or guitar. She ended her tribute by saying that Orbit had been a constant presence in her life during a transformative period in her career.
