Karnataka: Congress leader shot dead in broad daylight; attack caught on cam
A local Congress leader and contractor was shot dead by assailants in Udupi. David D'Souza, a former village panchayat president, succumbed to bullet injuries after the attack. He had previously served a jail term after being convicted in a suicide case. Police are investigating the murder, examining personal and business rivalries. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon in Padubidri.
