A newly surfaced rumor suggests that Apple may hike the prices of iPhone 17 as early as Monday, August 10, ahead of the anticipated price adjustments for the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro lineup. Weibo user Fixed Focus Digital reported on their post, stating rumors are circulating regarding an iPhone 17 price change taking effect on August 10.

However, the leaker did not confirm whether these prices would indeed change. Instead, they claimed with greater certainty that Apple had scrapped plans to increase production capacity on some lines from 15% to 30%, though it's unclear which components or products this capacity change applies to.

In the last month, Apple raised prices on a range of devices, including Macs, iPads, and most other products, primarily due to a surge in memory and storage costs. Nonetheless, the iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods, Studio Display, and accessories remained unaffected by these adjustments.
