Hamilton shares first pictures with new puppy Halo and Kim Kardashian

Lewis Hamilton has been basking in the summer break, sharing his first photos with his new golden retriever puppy, Halo, alongside Kim Kardashian on Instagram. Following a promising start to the season, Hamilton found himself second in the drivers' standings, behind Ferrari's Kimi Antonelli and ahead of George Russell. Expecting a strong second half of the championship, Hamilton posted, "Resting, restoring, recharging."

In the same Instagram post, Hamilton also shared pictures of Halo, a golden retriever who was flown to Los Angeles a few weeks back. Halo will be trained by the same person as Hamilton's other dogs, Roscoe and Coco, Kirstin McMillan.

Hamilton's resurgence has delighted former F1 champion Emerson Fittipaldi, who connected with Hamilton during the previous season. Fittipaldi, who experienced similar criticism about his age, expressed his happiness at seeing Hamilton and Ferrari perform well this year. Fittipaldi believes Hamilton's success is beneficial for the sport and its fans.

Following the Hungarian Grand Prix, Hamilton vowed to reduce penalties in the coming races. He believes working hard will help him achieve this goal. Despite acknowledging there are still positives to take from his season so far, Hamilton remains determined to make sure he doesn't provide any further reasons for penalties.
