Brian Schottenheimer Doubles Down on Cowboys' Super Bowl Expectations

Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer has reiterated his commitment to winning a Super Bowl, despite his team's struggles in recent years. Speaking to The Twins Take Podcast and later to Inside Football and the Wingo Network, Schottenheimer emphasized the importance of building a strong team culture while striving for a world championship.

He stated that the goal of winning the Super Bowl next year on February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles is non-negotiable. Schottenheimer, entering his second year with the Cowboys, believes his team is confident they will make it to the Super Bowl, but acknowledges that words alone won't be enough. The Cowboys have not reached the NFC Championship Game since their last Super Bowl win in 1995 and have only won five playoff games since then.

Under Schottenheimer, the team went 7-9-1 last season, with an impressive offense but a poor defense, and missed the playoffs again. The Cowboys kick off their 2026 season against the New York Giants on September 13.
