Bhopal Teen Girl’s Death: Suicide Note Raises Questions, Police Probe Possible Foul Play

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: Police are probing the mysterious death of a 15-year-old girl, whose body was discovered hanging inside an abandoned house near her residence. The family submitted a suicide note and a blade as evidence of foul play. The girl's post-mortem report confirmed suicide by hanging, but her father and uncle dispute this, pointing to injuries on her hands and legs, and the language used in the note, which they claim the girl could neither read nor write.

The girl reportedly went to school on Friday morning but never returned. Her family lodged a missing person report, leading police to her body in the dilapidated house. The investigating officer stated the door was locked from within when they arrived. Police are now scrutinizing the authenticity of the suicide note, comparing its handwriting to the girl's known handwriting, and examining her mobile phone, call records, social media activity, and contacts.

They also suspect the girl may have been killed after receiving calls from unknown numbers demanding money, which she allegedly did not pay. Schoolmates, friends, and neighbors are being questioned to clarify the girl's whereabouts before her death. Additional police commissioner Shailendra Singh Chauhan assured that all angles of the investigation will be explored, and further action will depend on the evidence.
