Youth cautioned against joining occult groups for quick money

The Open Arms Ministry observed Ghana's 11th Spiritual Independence Day by warning the youth against joining occult groups that promise quick riches. Apostle Kofi Nkansah-Sarkodie, the head pastor, stressed that there is no such thing as a free lunch and that the rituals and sacrifices associated with these groups outweigh any potential benefits.

He emphasized that these groups operate as secret societies, with everything about them meant to remain hidden. The head pastor expressed concern over the youth's desire for instant wealth, urging them to exercise caution and avoid these dangerous organizations. Saint Sark also criticized unscrupulous pastors during the recent World Cup tournament for diluting the work of God by predicting match scores.

He dismissed these activities as gambling, which he and Jesus Christ disapprove of. Furthermore, the pastor condemned "Prophets of the Nation" and "Kingmakers," stating that no true prophet would demand money or valuables from politicians to influence political outcomes, as Jesus Christ himself had no need for such support. He highlighted a recent jail sentence given to Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, attributing it to a prediction he made for 2024 if there was a change of government.

Saint Sark also criticized the NPP for their involvement in "primitive politics," pointing out that Prof. Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng's report had already implicated Wontumi in the Akonta Mining case.
