Trump’s Gaza Board moves ahead with first project - military base for Moroccan troops

Donald Trump's Board of Peace in Gaza has selected Arkel International, a Louisiana-based firm, to construct the first military outpost for Moroccan troops in the territory, according to a source familiar with the project. The base, intended to accommodate around 150 personnel on a site measuring approximately 100 meters by 120 meters, would be located within the 60% of Gaza currently under Israeli control, roughly a mile from the Israeli border.

The outpost is designed to support an international stabilization force (ISF), which is envisioned as part of Gaza's future security and governance arrangements. Morocco has pledged to contribute a small contingent of troops, who would rotate into Gaza from a base in Israel. The contract for the facility is still pending finalization.
