Romano: Man Utd must go ‘crazy’ to sign their dream target

Man Utd's pursuit of Lewis Hall as a left-back is contingent upon an "outrageous" bid, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano. After bolstering their ranks with Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, the Red Devils have shelved their midfield plans and now focus on another left-back. Luke Shaw remains the club's recognized left-back, while Tyrell Malacia departed and Patrick Dorgu has been utilized as a winger.

Harry Amass, once considered a potential option, is now more likely to be sold. Newcastle is unwilling to part with Hall for less than "crazy" figures. Romano warns that only an excessively generous offer could persuade Newcastle to reconsider, or else Man Utd might have to look elsewhere. Fulham's Antonee Robinson is seen as the most likely alternative, while Harry Amass could remain with Michael Carrick or Patrick Dorgu could revert to his original left-back role.
