Peletakan jawatan Nurul Izzah bukan masalah besar, kata Pemuda PKR

Kamil Munim, the head of the PKR Youth, stated that the issue of Nurul Izzah Anwar taking over as the party's vice president is not a significant matter. In an interview with Kosmo, Munim said that the party's operations will continue as usual, without delving into further details due to the statement made by the party leader. "I don't think it's a heavy issue or a major political problem today," Munim added.

Nurul Izzah recently reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the party's struggle under Anwar's leadership, despite stepping down from the vice president position. She also expressed confidence in Saifuddin Nasution Ismail as the vice president candidate and Amirudin Shari as the election chief to perform their duties wisely and diligently. The former Permatang Pauh MP cited her resignation as a reason for her to continue her further studies and pursue new steps in her life, independent of the political arena.

PKR announced Nurul Izzah's leave of absence from her duties as the party's vice president after the party's national congress, which is scheduled for next week. PKR Deputy Spokesman Fahmi Fadzil quoted Nurul Izzah as having requested to resign completely, but the party's Central Leadership Council decided to allow her a brief respite from her role. Nurul Izzah won the vice president election for PKR in May last year, defeating her rival Rafizi Ramli.
