Our country looks to you for fresh ideas, Akwa Ibom gov tells corps members

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has called on National Youth Service Corps members to leverage their orientation camp experience to forge enduring friendships that transcend ethnic and regional divides. He emphasized that the friendships they cultivate during their time in the camp could ultimately help shape the future of Nigeria.

The governor, represented by the Director of Youth Development, stressed the importance of unity, peace, and progress, stating that the country's well-being depends on how effectively they utilize the camp experience. Eno urged the corps members to embrace diversity as a source of strength and to work together in harmony and mutual respect, aiming for an egalitarian society.

The state government is committed to ensuring their welfare and security, and plans are underway to improve camp facilities.
