(LEAD) BLACKPINK to mark 10th anniv. with fan event in Seoul

SEOUL, Aug. 7 - K-pop sensation BLACKPINK is set to commemorate its 10th anniversary with a private meet-and-greet event for fans in the South Korean capital Seoul, marking the group's first domestic fan appearance together since July 2022, according to industry sources. The quartet, consisting of four members, will convene at the National Museum of Korea on August 7, the day of their debut in 2016, alongside 40 carefully selected fans, with specifics of the event to be disclosed individually to attendees by YG Entertainment, the group's management company.

This occasion sees BLACKPINK collaborating with Mu:ds, the museum's merchandise brand, to release the "BLACKPINK Heritage Collection" to celebrate the anniversary. Earlier, in February, the group partnered with the museum for a heritage-focused project, incorporating cultural activities tied to their music.
