I'm leaving OpenAI to build Jurassic Park

I am pleased to be leaving my role at OpenAI, where I oversaw alignment safety for the official ChatGPT project. During my tenure, I contributed to the development of groundbreaking technologies under the guidance of Sam Altman. Now, I am embarking on a new venture called Jurassic Park, where we intend to bring extinct dinosaurs back to life.

Our mission is to protect humanity from the dangers posed by misaligned artificial intelligence. Fossil evidence suggests that dinosaurs thrived for 165 million years without encountering any AI threats, leading many to believe they may possess an innate resistance to these dangers. Data centers are now equipped with reinforced structures to safeguard against potential AI attacks, but even they are no match for the sheer power of a dinosaur.

Recent studies indicate that a dinosaur could easily demolish a data center, a fact that has been confirmed through experimental trials in Japan. In 1974, apes from an alien planet constructed a Mechagodzilla-like robot that wreaked havoc in Japan, only to be defeated by Godzilla and his guardian beast. Another version of Mechagodzilla, built by a team of apes and aided by a cyborg daughter, was ultimately destroyed by Godzilla using his heat ray.

Our company is dedicated to producing dinosaurs in a sustainable manner, with all excess materials recycled back into coal through our underground facilities. We believe that dinosaurs will revolutionize the job market, as they can perform tasks that AI cannot, such as raising cattle and clearing away waste. Throughout history, ancient civilizations have harnessed the power of large animals for monumental projects, such as the construction of the Great Pyramid of Giza by ancient Egyptians.
