Ian Machado Garry: Conor McGregor will '100 percent be back' after tough loss

Ian Machado Garry, a UFC commentator, expressed his belief that Conor McGregor will return to the octagon after a recent tough loss and a five-year hiatus. McGregor, who returned from a long break in the main event of UFC 329, had his right knee torn during his fight against Max Holloway. Despite being in the ring for just 69 seconds, the Irish fighter underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus and ACL.

Machado Garry, in a recent interview with Betvictor Casino, described the main event as "tough to watch." He empathized with McGregor's predicament, stating that any fighter would feel the same when they prepare for a fight and do not get the opportunity to compete. He added that McGregor must "close the book" on that experience and compete for his own mental well-being.

Currently, McGregor has one more fight in his contract and has expressed his intention to complete it. The 38-year-old provided a positive update on his surgery on Wednesday.
